A quarter of a century in the capital markets, with a focus on new opportunities
Tesla Capital has celebrated 25 years in business with a formal anniversary event bringing together representatives of the Serbian capital market, the financial sector, the business community, regulatory institutions, clients and partners.
The anniversary was an opportunity to celebrate a quarter of a century of operations, while also presenting the company’s future development plans.
Tesla Capital has been present on the Serbian capital market since 2001, from the early days of trading through the BELEX system. Over the past 25 years, the company has developed its business with a focus on supporting clients, providing access to domestic and international capital markets, and building long-term trust.
People, relationships and trust were among the central themes of the evening. In her opening remarks, Marija Đorović, General Director of Tesla Capital, reflected on the company’s development and expressed her gratitude to employees, former colleagues, partners, clients and shareholders who have been part of the company’s journey over the years.
“In the capital markets, trust is not earned through a single good decision or one successful transaction. It is built over years through responsibility, consistency and a commitment to standing by our clients throughout every market cycle.”
New steps in development
The anniversary also provided an opportunity for Tesla Capital to present its new areas of development.
This year, the company obtained a licence to establish and manage alternative investment funds, laying the foundation for further development in the field of alternative investments and future investment opportunities through Tesla Asset Management.
Tesla Capital also introduced a new Portfolio Management service for clients seeking professional management of their capital. As Anton Gorbunov explained, the service involves the individual creation of investment portfolios in line with each client’s objectives and risk tolerance, with investments managed by Tesla Capital’s professional team.
Raims Capital: Investing in the future of the market
Guests have also been addressed by Sergey Lukashevich, Director of Raims Capital, who spoke about the importance of Tesla Capital within the development of Raims Capital Holding in Serbia.
As he noted, investing in Tesla Capital represents a deliberate decision to support the development of the Serbian capital market and to build services and products whose quality can match the offerings of European brokerage firms.
In Serbia, Raims Capital is also present through investments in a range of sectors, including domestic manufacturing through Black Horse FAS and real estate through Green Residence Kopaonik.
An evening that has brought the capital market together
The gathering of representatives from different parts of the financial system and business community further highlighted the role of the capital market in connecting companies, investors and institutions.
The celebration was attended by Lazo Ostojić, Director of the Belgrade Stock Exchange; Uroš Popović, Special Adviser to the President of the Securities Commission; Anina Milanović, Strategic Adviser to the World Bank on the Belgrade Stock Exchange; as well as representatives of the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House, SEEPEX, Black Horse, Concord West, Renaissance Broker, MK Group, White Papar LAB, REMED Rent, Simpo Vranje, Mitrosrem, Nexia Star Audit, NLB Bank, OTP Bank, Intesa Invest, Cripto12, the Treesury team, Bloomberg, the Public Debt Administration of the Ministry of Finance, and numerous other representatives of the financial and business sectors.
25 yeras behind us. A new phase ahead.
Tesla Capital marked its anniversary by looking back at its journey, but even more so by looking ahead.
After 25 years of experience in the capital markets, the company is entering a new phase of development, expanding its offering with new services and placing a stronger focus on alternative investments and professional capital management.
Twenty-five years is an important milestone. It is also a good moment to begin the next chapter.
